About Me

My name is Deion A. Kathawa, and I am a J.D. candidate at Notre Dame Law School. I am also the Membership Coordinator of the law school's Federalist Society chapter and the Vice President of the Saint Thomas More Society.

Before law school, I attended the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor ('17) and graduated with degrees in both philosophy and political science. While at Michigan, I was editor-in-chief of the Michigan Review, the independent, student-run journal of campus affairs. The Review was born in 1982 in reaction to campus liberalism's stifling conformism, a conformism so intolerant of dissent that copies of the paper were burned on the steps of the student union.

I am currently a contributor to American Greatness, the leading voice of the next generation of the American Right, and I am keen on learning more about the American idea, as well as other concepts in political philosophy, both of which are hobbies of mine.

In my down time, I love to watch college football and movies. Some of my favorites are Interstellar, Silence, The Dark Knight, and Mean Girls.
